[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7627″ el_class=”nur_im_raster”][vc_column_text el_class=”datum”]13.06.2023[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Under the motto “Encryption for more data security? – Practical exchange on the theory and practice of current encryption techniques”, an exciting workshop with various keynote speakers took place as part of the cybercrime\/IT security working group of the SACHSENMETALL association of the metal and electrical industry in Saxony at the 6th of June. The workshop was aimed at IT managers and managing directors of companies who are interested in the security of their data.<\/p>\n

In addition to various discussion rounds, the workshop offered an overview of current encryption technologies in two presentations by Sebastian Humenda, Secunet AG, and Matthias Kirchhoff, digitronic computersysteme GmbH. As local representive of the IT Security Association Germany (TeleTrusT<\/b>), Kirchhoff provided information to addresse misconceptions in practice with regard to digital confidentiality and the perception of its users.<\/p>\n

He presented digitronic’s products and services that enable companies to effectively protect their data and meet legal requirements. He used examples to show how digitronic supports customers in the selection, implementation and maintenance of encryption solutions.<\/p>\n

Jens Schwendel then moderated an exchange in which the participants discussed their questions and experiences on the topic of encryption. The workshop was a complete success and provided a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between experts and practitioners.<\/p>\n
